Resale Shopping Tips
Shopping of any kind can be overwhelming.

How many times have you wandered the isles of the grocery store because you didn’t make a list ?Holidayshopping without a clue is a nightmare. Trying to find a special occasion outfit without some idea of what you’re looking for is absolutely awful.

Thrifting (or resale shopping as we say around here) is fun when you come with an open mind and follow a few rules.

My newest obsession is www.abeautifulmess.typepad.com.

Welcome Sight
Its that time again. As the Costumes go away for another year, out comes the Christmas decor; maybe even a turkey or two. Of course we know it is the first official week of November, but has that ever stopped us? And besides, it is never too late to think about decorating you tree with family members, or picking up a tree skirt or even material to make your own. Our Ruby Road ladies have been saving up from last year, and they are in no shortage of holiday cheer.
Come by and see for yourself
you may either walk away with something or walk away inspired.
New Thrift Store is Now Ruby Road Resale
Thank you, all of our Friends and Customers. Without all of you what I am about to say would not be possible. Many of you who know me personally, know that I have wanted to change the name of our store for many years. Well, I am so excited to announce that we are finally going to do it! The store will now be Ruby Road Resale & Vendor Mall.

Over the last 6 years (can you believe it’s been 6 years!) we have continually tried to improve the store. We opened the Vendor Mall this past February with 12 vendor spaces. We now have 32 vendor spaces and a long waiting list for those wanting to sell at our mall. The Vendor Mall really brings out the “treasure hunting junkie” in all of us.
In June we ended the “Half Price Happy Hour”, and totally changed our pricing guidelines. We drastically lowered all prices through out the thrift store, and started using new colored price tags. Now we are able to offer all items from July, priced on blue and green tags at 50% off of our super reduced New Lower Prices! Nothing compares to the thrill of an outrageously good buy…
Remember, you don’t have to spend a fortune to look like a million…you just have to shop at the right store!
Thank you and I look forward to showing you around the new store soon,
Pamela Bridgnell

Originally price for over $60 at Anthropologie (a division of Urban Outfitters), we found a way to make it ourselves for much less HERE.

Come see The Kingdom of the Spiders
The Second Annual Kingdom of The Spiders Reunion

Filmed in Camp Verde, Arizona in 1977! Staring William Shatner and Woody Strode. Written by Alan Caillou and Stephen Lodge. It was about an Arizona town (Camp Verde!) infested with arachnids out to kill cattle and people. Shatner played veterinarian Rack Hansen. Roy Engel played the “mayor” who refuses to quarantine Strode’s ranch for fear of upsetting the public before the upcoming county fair.
Come see the movie all over again with your friends at Town Hall Park in Camp Verde!
On Saturday, October 29th 2011, the lawn opens at 3pm.
Free music and food available for purchase before the movie.
